How to enable clipboard on MAC OS X to work with TightVNC on UBUNTU 14.04?

Installed TightVNC on Ubuntu 14.04 ( https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/h...
On MAC used ScreenSharing (built into the system) and TIghtVNC Viewer ( www.tightvnc.com/download.php - JAVA version)
But the clipboard only works in the UBUNTU->MAC direction, and I can’t copy anything from the poppy to UBUNTU.If
you have encountered this, which way to look?

As I understand it, VNC is an old technology and the clipboard support there is very poor.
I switched to this solution, which worked - x2go
