How to mount an additional disk to Samba if the server is RAID1?

Good afternoon.
There is a server that performs several functions, including a file server / samba server. Of the three TB, almost nothing is left and you need to add a disk. In the server there are 2 disks in RAID1.
As I understand it, just adding 1 disk and mounting it to samba will not work, what should I do in such a situation?

@uskaritel

Why won't it work? If physically there is a free port, then just connect the HDD, the server sees a new disk after loading, mark it up, mount it, register it in the samba configs and voila - there is a new volume.
