How to modify usb ethernet firmware?

There is a usb network card. You need to modify its firmware to change the MAC address. What are the programs for this?

No need to offer options to change the poppy through the system - this option is not suitable. It is necessary to change the MAC at the firmware level.

If anyone is interested. I bought a network card on an asix chip and did everything according to this status.

The option is simple - find out the current MAC address, find in the firmware (it's in a separate SPI chip, right? Otherwise it will be very problematic) these numbers, and replace, flash the chip with new firmware, and hope that it (the firmware) does not check checksums or something else like that.
There is another option - https://datasheet.lcsc.com/szlcsc/Realtek-Semicon
-... where the MAC address is set.
Foreign option (from one of the forums, literal translation) - "if you can't change the MAC address in this device, buy something that allows you to do so." And this, it seems to me, is quite reasonable.
