How to mix audio and then write it to a file?

Hey All!
required:
- receive audio streams from a microphone in a web browser (FireFox)
- save to the server
- compile / mix with previously saved ones
all the examples encountered are mixed on a playback device (speakers / headphones)
simultaneously start playing several files
and how to compile them into one file ?
