How to migrate data to glusterfs?

We start glusterfs on a new storage (24 TB). I would like to connect the file systems of the old storage to it without reloading the data (16Tb).
What I did:
- created volume in distribute mode

gluster volume create testvol new-server1:/storage1/brick1 new-server2:/storage2/brick1

- I connect the old storage with existing files
gluster volume add-brick testvol old-server1:/oldstorage1/brick

- I do redistribute and wait for it to finish
- I mount testvol - I do
n't see old files in the mounted directory (they naturally exist on the disk) :-(
a lot and all of them are about 500 bytes - 4 kilobytes.. Such copying will take about a week :-(
Is it possible to connect a brick with old data?

@leahch

I will answer myself! Gone from glusterfs to ceph. We distribute data from virtual machines via rbd via nfs. I like everything very much. In virtual machines, they made a forwarding of iron on sr-iov.
We are thinking of deploying a second ceph in a neighboring building!!!
