How to manage the local network with your router?
There is internet using gpon technology. Do not install your own router, there is no optical port.
Since IPTV and telephony services are also provided, I don’t want to transfer to the bridge.
How viable is the solution - to connect mikrotik hap ac to the provider's router and configure DMZ on it. And connect the entire LAN (devices with Internet access) to this Mikrotik and steer from it?
Do I understand correctly that upnp will need to be enabled only on Mikrotik, in order to forward ports from the torrent client?
Maybe some other problems await me that I could not imagine building my LAN in this way?

IPTV, telephony, security providers usually run on separate VLANs with wiring to the access ports of the router, so usually nothing prevents you from transferring only the Internet connection to the bridge and raising it on your own
And why do you need all this?! I have been sitting on GPON for 10 years, a router from a provider. The apartment has about 10 devices and computers (phones, 4 laptops, a large computer). Everything works through wifi. True, he set his access point, the provider's router did not pull such a number of devices. About 3 months ago I asked the provider to update the router - I removed my access point.
But what for also your router ?! Yes, and DMZ with no dedicated IP-address?!

It's not just optics. You can use a converter, such as BDCOM GP1501-1G.

will be the norm.
Do not install your own router, there is no optical port.
and configure DMZ on it

If you really want your own router, then instead of the provider's, you can simply take the ONU subscriber terminal - the same media converter, but for GPON. To him, already hook your router and set it up.
