How to make Yota work via usb extension cable?

When I connect the Yota modem directly to the socket of the Zyxel Keenetic 4G III router, everything is fine, but the signal is weak. When I connect the Yota modem through a regular shielded usb extension cable, problems arise. The USB indicator on the router lights up and goes out after 2 seconds.
USB cable 3.5 meters. I tried to connect additional 5V power to +/- at the cable, as advised on the forums, but to no avail.
For some reason, the MTS 4G modem works fine through the same extension cable, but Yota does not.
How to solve the problem with the extension cord? Are there special usb extensions for this purpose?
An extension cord for the Yota modem is needed to raise the modem itself closer to the ceiling so that there is a better signal. Because without an extension cord, the Yota modem itself periodically disconnects from the router. Approximately 1 time per hour.

Put an active hub with its own power between the router and the modem, your signal is fading on the data line, apparently the cable is completely Chinese shit

Hello! We carefully read your review and could not pass by. We are concerned that you are having difficulty using our equipment. :(
First of all, I would like to note that there are no special USB extension cables for our modem devices, but for the modem to work correctly, the length of the extension cable should not exceed 3 meters. figure out what the difficulties with the signal at your address are and find a way to improve the situation so that even when connected to the router directly, everything works well.
To do this, please contact us through personal messages of our official Vkontakte group (vk.me/yota) and specify your exact address (city, street, house number), and attach the current data from page 10.0.0.1 or status.yota .ru. We will check how things are with the network coverage in this place, the work of the nearest base stations and, if necessary, we will transfer the request for signal improvement to the relevant department.
We are waiting for your information!

Most likely, an iota of food, corny, is not enough. For such purposes, I made a homemade twisted pair extension cable. 3 pairs for power, and one pair for D+ and D-. The 5+ meter extension cord worked without the slightest problem.
And yes, a pair of capacitors for power supply in the USB connector on the modem side (0.1 ceramics and 10.0 electrolyte) will not only be superfluous, but also highly recommended.

Yes, as correctly said in all the comments above, the cable is of poor quality and does not have enough power. I’ll add on my own that hanging the modem in a regular satellite dish directed towards the base station helps to significantly amplify the signal (it’s quite possible to accelerate from GPRS to 3G).
