How to make VLC sync with friends (like online cinema)?
My friends and I often watch movies like this: I download a torrent, everyone goes to a premium Discord server and I stream in 1080p 60fps, but of course, freezes, freezes and pixelation constantly slip through, although the Internet is very fast and the video is new. Online cinemas are also not suitable, because the quality of films straight from sites does not suit us, and it is often difficult to find in the original voice acting with captions. Yes, and there you need a stable Internet stream.
So I came up with an easy way - write VLC player control sync for all viewers. Everyone downloads the same file, launches it locally and watches. If one paused - everyone paused, if one changed the audio track - everyone changed the audio track, etc.
The question is: what is the best way to do this, what language, how to make a connection? My version of the finger in the sky - Extension for VLC and LAN connection via RADMIN.
I am amateurishly familiar with Python, C++, C#, Java, JS-HTML-CSS, but I will be happy to figure out anything else.
Thank you.
