How to cache HTTP stream on VLC side when pausing?
Good day to all.
Actually a subject.
I watch iptv using UDPXY, that is, I access an address like: http://192.168.0.1:8000/udp/239.255.2.1
If you watch a multicast UDP stream directly: udp://239.255.2.1
then when you press the pause, VLC starts caching the stream to disk and when you unpause, the broadcast continues, only with a little delay.
So the problem is that if you look through:, http://192.168.0.1:8000/udp/239.255.2.1
then VLC does not cache the stream to disk (which is logical, because it thinks it's HTTP! ).
And now, when unpaused, the stream does not continue from where it stopped, but jumps to a live broadcast, while it also starts to twitch ...
The question is, is it possible to somehow set up VLC so that when you press pause, it continues to add the stream to the buffer, and then watch again from it?
