How to make sure that ESXi does not lag due to monitoring?

I have an ESXi 6.7 hypervisor at my disposal. The task is to configure its monitoring in zabbix. I decided to use the standard template that SOAP uses. There is a lot of information on the Internet about how to set it up, but no one has encountered the problem that this template simply brings down esxi snout with web requests, it hangs and it is impossible to work in it. Who knows how to deal with this and who had similar problems?
