How to make registration on the site offline

Hello. There is the following interesting problem. A service is being created for a large audience, and only about 40-60 percent of it will be an Internet user. The question arose of how to make offline registration so that it is also simple. Current options:

  • Creation of a call center;
  • SMS registration;
  • Registration using an answering machine, by analogy with the services of mobile operators.

All of these options have their drawbacks. The call center may either not pay off at all, or quickly get a very large load and cease to be effective.

SMS, filled in free form and processed by the bot, can be easily jammed in the presence of typos, for example, so that manual labor appears.

Registration using an answering machine is still not very convenient, and again, a refusal is possible if the load is heavy.

UPD: The registration must contain the full name, phone number, region and profession, which will be selected from the list on the site.

In general, IMHO, SMS is the best way because:
a) it allows you to register the user's phone as a login
b) it adequately displays and allows you to save the entered password
c) reduces the chances of misunderstanding the information by the user. Those. the user will not be able to adequately perceive what he said to the call center or answering machine if he cannot make out what they are saying to him. Those. will not be able to adequately verify the entered data. With SMS, the problems of "understanding" are clearly less.

Make registration using an autoresponder, SMS, mail (regular, not E-Mail), the ability for registered users to register others ... and n more inexpensive options. And let the people themselves choose how it is more convenient for them to regatta

make a regular SMS, if the bot didn’t recognize something, then mark unrecognized fields with the label “order the user to enter them manually when they first enter the site”

What is the purpose? After all, the means of achievement depend on the goal.

Mmm ... I don’t even know, but if I understood the question correctly, for example, considering that the majority have mobile phones - maybe. is it worth making a registration form on the site adapted for use on the phone? It does not capture everyone, but at least some of it. Personally, I would prefer this option for myself, instead of the same SMS registration.
Pluses of a method: automatic processing/checking, result at once.
Perhaps you should choose 2 similar methods and give users a choice.

Registration is still needed on the site, so do the standard registration and there is no need to reinvent the wheel.
If people are far from the Internet, then enter a simplified registration (a person drives in a login / password / soap, and only a response about successful registration is sent to the soap, without any confirmation, after which the candidate can only get to the page where he must fill in other data, such as full name / etc. )

The registration must contain the full name, phone number, region and profession, which will be selected from the list on the site.

unequivocally sms:
+ Immediately know the phone number.
+ By the subscriber number, you determine the region where the phone is registered.
When you first enter the site, it remains to indicate your full name and profession.
lesser evil imo
