How can a programmer find an interesting startup to participate in?
Hello!
Spring. And sometimes such a strange desire to get up from the couch and do something, work! You drive him away from you, exhort him with iron logic, then you ignore him, then you listen patiently... and yet sometimes you sigh and give in - if it really gets to you.
Well, let's work. But where can you find a good project to participate in? In old projects, everything is old, and it’s too lazy to delve into other people’s dull pasta. It would be nice to find an interesting startup. But where are they looking for, and how, huh?
Tried searching on GitHub but haven't found anything yet. Yes, and in Russian I would like to communicate with co-developers, but there is more and more in English.
Maybe there is somewhere such a separate directory of startups or something? Like, here we are a startup, we do this and that, there is no money, but you hold on, but there is a vacancy. Well, there, JavaScript or C # programmer, maybe something else. Remotely, and so the type of open source - if without money, then without obligations. The difference from freelancing is clear.
Does anyone know of such directories or may have used similar ones? Tell me please.

Look like hackathons, if you are too lazy to go (but still insist) look at the latest startup competitions, if you like some, write directly to them and they will take you to the team 90%.
+ you can look at the nearest CMIT, fab-lab, ...
Yes, on the same fl.ru with enviable regularity there are offers to participate in a startup for a share. Go ahead.
Freelancing, basically everything starts with this))
Then, you can look at startup sites. Like a kickstar.
Show resourcefulness
Freelancing is more work for a ready-made specialist, performing a specific task, within the framework of a prescribed plan, plus correction and work on errors.
It is difficult to imagine self-development and communication during remote work.
A startup can only give specific, narrow tasks to freelance.
