How to make knots from two threads using electronics?

What scheme can you come up with to make knots from two threads as in the photo using electronics?
Are there any ready-made solutions? I couldn't find anything myself.

Something similar in kinematics to a sewing machine. What is the ultimate goal of this procedure? Maybe you can do without knots (or even without threads)?

This is the real world, here [electro]mechanics are needed first of all.
Electronics here - in the second, and even in the third place will rise.

Free idea for development: a shuttle with a thread suspended in a controlled magnetic field + machine vision .

Everything is quite feasible, provided that there is a good mechanical base, all control on 4 - 5 axes with stepper motors and encoders for coordination.
