How to make friends with the Russian layout with Ctrl-hotkeys in Ubuntu?
In the Russian layout in Ubuntu, some applications (say, Chrome) understand hotkeys, for example. Crtl-C, and some, for example - WPS Writer, do not understand. As a result, the clipboard, saving, etc. stop working. But if you switch to the Latin layout, then everything works. Where should I file with a rasp so that Ubuntu understands that Ctrl-S in the Russian layout is Ctrl-S, not Ctrl-S?

As an option that should help in 99% of cases, enable the option to remember the layout in each window: https://askubuntu.com/a/146734
But of course, the option when you need to switch the language in one application and not break the hotkey remains.
Theoretically, the layout can be disfigured in any way through the keyboard plan, which is loaded by X (system, root is needed), or through xmodmap. For example, for me, Enter on the numpad is reassigned to Return (to work the same way - some smart apps distinguish them!)
