You copy and go bezier and at the top there is a choice of mode. You select the mode "from the clipboard"! And yes. Don't connect the circuit. It will suck. If you want what would happen without separation, you draw a contour (an object with such a contour) into a raster. editor and paste. Exactly along the contour and draw a bezier. I haven't tried it myself, but it should work! But it's all tedious! I bet there are easier ways. At least I don't know them.
