What inkscape replacement do you recommend?
Task: create and edit svg for the web
Why I'm looking for a replacement:
Very intricate ui, I've been looking for what, how and where for a long time. Annoying transform. I usually make a path and copy it to d. And if inkscape adds a transform to the group, then this is a useless exercise. I know that it turns off, but every time I encounter this, I spend an hour to remember where. A bunch of shit in the code, which is completely unnecessary, which is also a little annoying, although the delete button works properly.
Usually I clean the code through here:
https://jakearchibald.github.io/svgomg/
I don’t understand why this shouldn’t be built into the program.
I would like to have at least a little work with masks and animation. Although perhaps handles are optimal, but at least a few tools would be great.
I touched BoxySvg - ui is super, but the functionality is rather weak for 700 rubles, which they want for it. And it doesn't have a horizontal scrollbar. It's annoying as hell. And how to copy, for example, the d attribute to the path, I did not find.
AI - do not offer, since I don't need a broken one, but I don't really want to pay for this bus just for the sake of svg, and not at first glance it is not very user-friendly inkscape.
Maybe someone knows something interesting?
