How to let the traffic of a household router through a proxy server?

There are several household routers (all from different companies, Tp-Link, Asus, Zyxel, most of the new models) whose traffic needs to be sent through a certain proxy server on the Internet.
How to implement it? I just know that Zyxel expands its functionality through plugins.

Letting all home traffic through a proxy is a so-so idea.
Firstly, almost none of the router manufacturers support this in standard firmware. Yes, and in custom rare function.
Secondly, the proxy does not encrypt data. All you will achieve is to change the IP that sites will see.
Therefore, it is better to consider using a VPN. This feature is standard in many routers.
