How to keep the bottom panel with buttons when switching to other screens?

In almost all applications, a function is used when some element is saved when moving to other screens. For example, although not very appropriate, speaking of Android :), in the same App Store at the bottom of the screen there are several buttons like "Home screen", "Top charts", "Updates", etc. All of them are located side by side, and when you switch, say, from the Main screen to the Top charts, they are saved. Question: is there an optimal way to do this, or do you have to copy buttons and transitions on each screen?
