Android Market via USB?

Is there a way to download apps from market.android.com via USB? The market only offers to use the WIFI or 3G network. I don't have the first one, the second one is too expensive. I know that you can of course download .apk from getjar.com or from 4pd, but it's a little depressing, constantly fooling around with copying, climbing through the file manager.
