How to install the current TeamViewer on Ubuntu 16.04 or how to replace it without connecting a white IP?
The only teamview that worked fine on this ubuntu is TeamViewer QuickSupport.
Then it became impossible to connect to its latest version. And from the connecting side, I tried both old and new ones.
The usual TeamViewer cannot be installed. As a rule, the GUI simply does not start, despite the fact that I perform actions like sudo apt install -f after dpkg -i ... or even install from the software center.
In older versions (11), the GUI works, but the network does not work, and these versions are unlikely to work.
I would have installed some kind of tightvncserver a long time ago, but this is a laptop, it connects to the Internet in different places, so there is no way to provide a static IP (except perhaps through 4g, but I'm not sure about this possibility, and it's perverted).
In addition to the laptop, I also tried to install it on a VPS with Ubuntu Server and installed lxde from the Ubuntu repository (old lxde), I just tried it for experiment. Nothing worked either.

Vnc with reverse connection when the server connects to the client.
Also, you can connect via ssh port mapping, on the same channel that is controlled by the machine.
I highly recommend using x2go.
If you are too lazy, try anydesk, they are almost a complete tramviewer clone.
