How to install drivers for USB ports on a new laptop with Win10, where Win7 was installed?
Bought an Asus x540sa laptop with win10 preinstalled. I didn’t even pull office work, we decided to install Win7. After much torment, it was still installed, I installed all the drivers through Driver Pack Solutions, everything is buzzing, but not a single USB port (one 2.0, the second 3.0), card reader and touchpad work. You can do without a card reader and a touchpad, but you can’t even connect a mouse without usb.
At the same time, the bios, life sits see USB ports. How to be? Maybe there is some standard driver for USB? Previously, no matter how many times I reinstalled the system, there were never problems with drivers for ports, I have no idea what to do. Device manager shows 4 unidentified drivers without drivers, I think a touchpad, a card reader and two USB

and from here it was apparently too lazy to download or they refused to be put on win7?
Never understood those who use Driver Pack Solutions and similar software. I have a prejudice that its function is to spread infection under the guise of a driver installer.
the transition from ten to 7 is stupidity. a dozen is no worse, namely better than 8.1, and 8.1, in turn, is better than 7.
Now let's move on to the requirements:
what is actually required from a laptop that is equipped with a minimum? Should he design a nuclear reactor alone or design a new Energia-Buran?
in general, the main brakes are in the disk subsystem.
change HDD to SSD.
and no more talking about the fact that everyone around is to blame .....
