USB device not recognized in Windows how to fix?

Guys, I really need help! There is an old, old laptop. He has 4 usb connectors in pairs of 2. I believe that they are all on the same chip, or connected with one cable, I don’t know for sure, I didn’t make it out. OS windows xp pro. One pair of usb works, and the second does not recognize any device writes - The USB device is not recognized in Windows. It doesn't show up in the manager. I tried to reinstall Windows, delete root devices, searched the registry for lover-uper case. There is no usb setting in bios. But on the case itself, usb 2.0 is written for one pair and the second. Maybe not enough food? what are the ideas? I really want to have it repaired!

perhaps you still need to deliver additional drivers to the motherboard chipset, or maybe there is some other electronics, install all the drivers that should come with the motherboard and the inserted boards. and then you will see further. it is possible that two ports burned out

Most likely the outputs themselves are faulty. The reason may be in the connector itself, or in the usb controller. I don't think it's worth fixing them. Just take a USB hub and plug it into working ports.
