How to install Comodo SSL certificate for 1C web configuration?

Hello!
The task is to bring the 1C web configuration to the Internet, which hangs on Apache 2.2. Actually, for greater security, it was decided to buy a single domain certificate from Comodo. In this regard, several questions arose:
1. When purchasing a certificate, you must specify the type of web server: it is either Apache-ModSSL or Apache-SSL. What is the difference between these two points? In his Apache, which provides access to 1C, mod_ssl.so will be used.
2. After purchasing a certificate, will I receive a ready-made certificate file that needs to be registered in Apache? Or you need to perform the procedure for registering a certificate in a Comodo certification authority. With English, things are not very good, so I would like to minimize communication with Comodo support.
3. The choice fell on Comodo, because. the company has proven itself well in terms of SSL certificates. Perhaps there are other Russian-speaking certificate authorities that can provide support on these issues?
Thank you.

@HidX

And why not first try a certificate from startssl for free, and then buy a paid one (why buy if there is a free one?)?

The first two questions are clearly for Comodo, and not for Habr.
