How to insert memory into a laptop with a non-removable battery so that it does not burn out?
When repairing an old laptop, the master said that if you do not remove the battery before manipulating the memory, the laptop may no longer turn on. Decided to add a bracket on my work laptop (Acer Aspire A315-34) and it doesn't have the same detachable battery as my previous laptops. Removed the bottom cover. I'm not an expert on the insides of computers, so I find it difficult to identify the battery, but I can see the memory slot. How to insert a bar with minimal risk? Is it enough to just turn it off, or is it energized in the off state?

In addition, the following sequence can be recommended.
Finish normal work, touch the battery with your hand, touch the case of the laptop with your hand, open the memory compartment, insert the bar, assemble it back. Run.
Set the PS computer steadily so as not to press the buttons and poke the screen.
hard to recognize the battery
