How to increase the frequency of the monitor and is it worth it?
I bought an Asus VA24EHE monitor, here are its characteristics:
Screen resolution 1920 x 1080
Diagonal 24 inch
Matrix type IPS
Response time, ms5
Brightness, cd / m² 250
Screen refresh rate, Hz75
In theory, it should support a frequency of 75 Hz. However, the real frequency is 60 Hz. I thought it was about the VGA interface, which does not pull a high frequency. Therefore, I connected it via DVI-D Dual Link. I read on the Internet at 1920 by 1080 should support 85 Hz. But in fact, the frequency remained the same. What is the reason for this, is it possible to solve it and is it worth bothering with it at all?
Yes, in the properties of climbing, only this frequency is available. System, if anything, Windows 7.

Just got in the reviews:
I answer my own question: Of the three inputs on the monitor, 75Hz ate only HDMI. DVI and VGA only at 60Hz. If you need 75, be sure to buy an HDMI->HDMI or DVI->HDMI cable. It does not depend on the video card or settings. The main thing is to shove the 75Hz signal only into the HDMI hole
How much I sit at the computer, how much I play, I always set 60 and it was on the side. As far as I remember, changing the frequency helps people whose eyes hurt from these monitors.
