How to increase buffer in virtualbox?

Hello everyone
, I use virtualbox, under windows (windows 10 pro), I run ubuntu, 20th on it.
I set up a bidirectional buffer through vboxaddons, but I believe that it is too small, because only a certain number of characters are copied (I did not count how many but + -50-100). if I try to copy more - just does not copy. I believe that somewhere the size of the buffer is exposed. poked around in ui but didn’t find how to change it ((
does anyone know how to overcome this?
