How to improve the performance of FireFox?

Hello. I recently switched to Fire Fox and was surprised to find that the video in the browser does not start and play as smoothly as in chrome, is it possible to fix this somehow? (Does the browser need more time to process the image) Is it possible to somehow improve the performance of the browser with some kind of extension or add-on? Can enable or disable what you need?
ps The youtube music icon has a white background when it shouldn't. Is there really a way to fix this? Periodically, the white background disappears, but rarely
