There is a rather strange refrigerator Electrolux ERB34090
. One of the thermostats started to work loudly in it. And there was a feature when the thermostat is triggered, the LCD TV flashes (off / on) (and only the TV set, the monitors do not notice all this).
Turned on the compressor manually after the thermostat tripped, everything is fine. Apparently, the contacts have worn out and parasitic processes occur at the time of operation and start-up of the compressor.
I want to insert between the thermostat and the starting posistor, a turn-on delay timer of 555. But I don’t want to use a mechanical relay, but instead of a relay, use a BTA triac.
Can anyone suggest a circuit 555 + a powerful triac?

It is not entirely clear why the thermostat cannot be replaced, but the master is the master. You need to start by finding out the required power of the triac (do not forget to multiply by two for reliability), and connecting it is not a problem - take the same MOC and a selected triac. Be sure to provide a booster and other fire protection. 555 is not needed here. Get a soft start of the motor .
