There is Ubuntu Server 14.04, mc is installed on it, I connect to the server via putty, when mc is started, the user's home directory opens in the left and right panels. Is it possible to somehow prescribe in the settings so that when you start mc, ~ opens in the left panel, and /etc/ in the right panel, for example?

or add an alias to .bashrc
alias mce="mc / /etc"
