Copying files in midnight commander?

Hello everyone, there is a task to copy a file from one category to another
. I did this on the left panel and opened the directory from where to copy, in the right panel I opened the directory where to copy, I press f5 I write the copy path, but the file is not copied
Please tell me in what could be the problem, or how to copy correctly?

It is not necessary to write the copy path. Just F5, enter.
