How to highlight text if the parallax image covers the entire page?

I have three divs with parallax and I gave them z-index: 1-2;
Now, because of this, I can’t select text, because each picture covers completely. What can be done?

Turns out I'm not quite correct in using pointer-events. It turns out that I had three pictures, and they had to attribute pointer-events. After that it worked
