How to hide/remove tray icon?

There is a Visit-X Splitter program, I don’t want it to hang in the tray, but actually there are still 5 progs, what are the ways to hide the icon in the system tray? Or simply hide the icon and disable clicks on it.
Windows 7 x64
is, of course, PS Tray Factory, but then it hangs in the tray itself, then it makes sense from it ...
