How to get rid of noise when the microphone is turned off?
Hello. I have such a problem: when you turn off the microphone in the Philips SHM6500 headphones on the switch, which is on the wire, there is some noise from the interlocutors. This problem is seen on two of these headphones. I connect to the laptop using the adapter that came with the kit, because. The laptop only has 1 connector. When connected to another laptop, in which 2 connectors, this problem was not noticed.

That is, you have a headset designed for two three-pin connectors that does not work correctly when connected to one four-pin connector??
What surprises you?
turn off the microphone programmatically. The switch is trite, I suppose, closes the microphone to the ground and starts phoning in a four-pin (through an adapter, this is yours).
