How to get rid of lags in Blender?

I have R7 2700, 16gb ram, gtx 1063
I decided to learn blender, I'm interested, I made a couple of simple models, everything was ok. I switched to making a model of a small island with +-100 vertices, the computer began to lag terribly in edit mode, in object mode the same story ... what could be? I didn’t change any settings myself, I didn’t find a question on the Internet like mine
