Career in IT

How to get into the field of information technology?

Good afternoon, they advised me to ask such a boring question on the toaster, they said this is the most adequate forum.
I dream of getting into the field of IT, I am 23 years old, I did not serve in the army, I did not get a higher education due to personal circumstances. Official work experience 3 months as a courier. Unofficially engaged in the repair and decoration of apartments.
I understand computers at the user level, install windows, assemble a computer, customize software for myself, and stuff like that. If I don't know something, then with Google.
Is it possible with such a list, lack of education and minimal knowledge to get a job in IT and develop in this area?
What is the best place to start? There is currently no money for courses.
To continue working at a construction site, unfortunately, allergies interfere, so it was more a mockery of myself than work.
If I missed something, ask questions, I will be happy to answer.

When I go to headhunter, I get 2 types of answers, you are not suitable for us and more classic, we will call you back. That's why I was forced to turn to this forum.

IMHO from the side of the programmer:
There is no need to whine that you did not manage to immediately find a place in the sun. Believe me, you are not the only one who worked as a courier and handyman. And all also did not start large sums in their pockets.
Only 5 percent of people can get a sense from education. The rest will go sideways and the result will be a useless piece of paper lying in the toilet (in my case). Education is not a decisive factor, but a piece of pleasant addition. For smart and motivated people, this is the basis on which they can build their careers.
If you think that it is smeared with honey, you are mistaken. If you think that with half a kick here the sea pays money, you are mistaken. If you think that working at a computer for many hours a day is fun and does not cripple your health, you are mistaken. Of the ordinary professions on the market, I think that this is the most difficult.
Such a question should be googled. In general, everything should be googled. This is the basis for programmers.
Google what Internet Technology (IT) is. Figure out what you want. Design, code, journalism, advertising. You can assemble a computer, maybe it’s interesting for you to poke around in the hardware, but this is never an IT.
You have to try to decide. Google every question in your head and look for a solution to it.
PS If, in your attempts, you give up this business and cannot diligently understand the task, it is better to quit right away and look for another direction

What city are you in?
In a millionaire, you can find a job in IT even with such experience. The main thing is to think quickly and be a "good person" :)
Sit down now and read how to make a website, how to promote it and what to do with it next. Then look here for how to learn all sorts of html, js, php, css at the level of "I understand a little"
Then you make your site, crookedly askew, but do it yourself. Everything, the initial experience is already there.
Look at the resumes of those who want to get into web studios, make up your own very good and beautiful. And send it to web studios. The main thing is to show yourself as an adequate, adult person with a VERY GREAT desire to work in this particular area.
Anyone can take to the Web Studio. From advertiser and manager to junior in the programming department, if you show that the brain works fast.
And here, as you work, you yourself will understand WHERE you want to move.
Why site building and web studios? Because now it is easiest to get into them without much experience, but with great desire. Because it is easy to find information and just learn the basics on your own.
And because they really take anyone there, but with the desire to plow.
According to my observations, software development firms (and all that) are less willing to take without experience, and they don’t really look at desire. They already need a normal level of knowledge and experience, or at least luck.
