Do they take Front End with a weak JS skill to the studio?

Do they take to the studio on the Front End with a weak JS skill?
I know various CMS for turning, I put on templates for self-writing. As for the layout, I feel confident.
I am very familiar with JS. But I can tie the standard functions to the front, sliders, galleries.
With weak JS, can you claim something? Is it possible to get a job in a studio, for example, which makes simple MI, blogs, business cards, etc.
Whole question :)

It is possible to get a job on a conveyor streaming layout for 1-2 CMS for a small fee.
About more with such knowledge - you can not even dream of.

And you hide that you know superficially, and indeed, what is “superficial” and what is “standard”, but each employer has his own understanding, in general, everyone’s requirements are different, so if you want, it’s quite realistic to create an impression in someone that you suit him, and take on a project that requires more "skills" than yours, but you must understand what you are doing and be prepared for the fact that it will be difficult, here someone likes what they like, I personally prefer this rhythm.

depending on which web studio. it is quite possible to find those in which there will be enough knowledge to hang a couple of actions on a click (the same adding "active" for example). a couple of years ago - I would say that there are a lot of such web studios. especially in small towns. right now, there are fewer of them every year, but it’s real to find. but still I advise you to learn jq.

IMHO - JS, Angular, Css, html5, composer = minimal set, well, it would be nice to understand the basics of backend, docker, virtual + vagrant so as not to look like an idiot when working on a project with a test environment. As recently as on Friday, we said goodbye to the front, which called itself a developer, but could not deploy a test environment, had no idea how to upload a dump of a test base to its LAN, raised its environment on a dev server - as I understand it, the person was generally lost as a dev under *nix and there are no Windows utilities for working with git, editors and other things, after the code review it turned out that he did not know what composer is and pushed a bunch of third-party libs into his branch that messed up the branch .... As a result, as I understand it management and this person realized that they were not suitable for each other.
Again, IMHO - one should know a little more than just 2 subjects from one area, if there is hope of getting into a normal project.

I have always divided my friends by the type of job search into bad job seekers and good ones, and the former almost always have worse experience and knowledge and mental abilities from nature, but they almost always found a job almost the next day, and the latter always ask stupid questions and long looking for a job, you can now choose whether you want to be in the first or second category.

Front-end developer and knowledge of JS and derivatives. Without this, and the skill you described, you need to go to the Layout Designer. After learning JS, you can also improve on the knurled one)
