How to get access_token by login/password for Android/Ios in REST server?

Hey! There is an application. Login only by username/password.
We send a login/password to the server, for example, to site.ru/v1/user/auth and access_token, refresh_token, expires_in are returned.
Do I still need to become something on the server, for example, some kind of client_id?
How is this usually done in practice?
