How to generate an order in OpenCart by phone number?

There are two stores on OpenCart. In one of them, the proger added such a thing - a person enters his number in the card and an order with status 0 (incomplete, abandoned) appears in the admin panel. This helps to hook the phones of those people who have not completed the order.
I’m trying to figure out its code, I can’t understand how it generates an order, so the question is how can I create an order in OpenCart with the data in the basket and a phone number so that a person can calmly finish the checkout and don’t understand that his order is already exist?
