How to flash *.rom modified BIOS firmware file if Ez flash utility can only flash *.cap file?

There is an Asus P9X79 Pro board, you need to flash a modified BIOS firmware file.
The modified BIOS file itself is in * .rom format, there is no programmer at hand, the bios utility wants to sew only * .cap
about the converter. but it seems like for older versions it is, the current version of bios 4801
