How to fix printing problem from Windows Server Terminal?
Hello.
A co-worker recently had a problem printing from Windows Server 2003 terminals.
The problem is as follows. When an employee sends a document for printing, extra blank sheets come out.
If you send a test page, then first a blank sheet comes out, then a sampler and again a blank one.
That is, if an employee starts printing a package of documents from 1C, then a lot of extra blank sheets come out.
When printing directly from a computer, everything is fine. There are no extra white sheets.
I tried to reinstall the printer driver directly on the computer, it did not help. The same problem came to the terminal with 2 different users.
And the problem is similar on 2 different terminals (Both Windows Server 2003).
Those data.
Employee's OS: Windows 7 Pro x64
Printer: HP LaserJet 1522 via USB (tried to connect to another USB port, did not help).

My answer will probably be meaningless, but many years ago there was exactly the same problem. This was fixed by the fact that on the terminal server either a .reg file was launched, or a patch was installed, I don’t remember exactly. Most likely, it was a reg file, I think if you google, you can find it.
Such "glitches" are treated by connecting the printer on the terminal server in the "locally" mode. In this case, instead of the port, specify the path to the printer's network resource in the form "\\pc-01\hplj1015".
When prompted to install drivers, select those that work fine on the local computer.
Works in 70% of cases.
