How to fix HP LJ M1536dnf MFU printer error?

I'm trying to scan documents with standard HP applications that are installed with driver packages.
The printer is connected to the local network, from the local network the cable goes to the PC.
(Standard cable not included)
On windows 7 sp1 PC.
It was treated earlier by reinstalling the drivers, now it does not help.
Any guesses what could be the problem?
