How to find out what process is loading the system?

Good afternoon everyone.
The problem is in the SUSE Linux 11 virtual machine. The system loads the processor at 100% at startup.
Judging by the system monitor, the download is only from the "md" process.
Tell me, what kind of process is this and how can I influence it without ruining the system?

@Fixid

There are suspicions that you are rebuilding a soft RAID array
Show cat /proc/mdstaton the host and virtual machine and htop sorted by CPU (or ps ax | grep md)

Cat gives everywhere:

# cat /proc/mdstat
