How to find a PHP Junior job?
For some time I was engaged in the development of sites on a freelance basis: medium and small sites, tasks of medium complexity. In general, the usual passer-enikey: layout, programming, scripts. Recently, I began to feel that such work no longer brings much pleasure and has become just a routine. I wanted to make a professional level-up towards back-end development. However, experience and knowledge are not enough for large and highly loaded projects. In addition, I'm tired of "stewing in my own juice."
As a result, it was decided to move to Moscow and try to get a job as a junior in a strong team.
As the search and monitoring of sites for work showed, there are practically no vacancies for the position of junior. The main stream of vacancies is either webmasters-enkeys (the same freelance, only on the side), or highly qualified developers. As far as I understand, no one is specifically looking for juniors.
Hence the question: how to look for a job as a beginner/junior developer?

Write to any recruiting agency, you will be bombarded with calls with offers in a couple of days.
Start communicating with leads from the office in Moscow. Ask.
Register on My Circle, join all the HRs in Moscow and St. Petersburg (no one will look at you like a fool, people there have thousands in the first circle and this is normal).
Advertise yourself. Ask.
Sooner or later you will be noticed.
Don’t be stupid for an interview, but also try not to look like a complete robot. Ask :-)
And what prevents you, having a programmer mindset, from becoming a professional? They are not looking for juniors, because many do not know who they are (for example, my boss). And those who know, understand that they don’t need shit code.
And the main question for you: why are you looking for a job? Every day they come to us for an interview exactly the same as you. Those who cooked as best they could on freelance, they got bored, they decided to work in a company, but they themselves do not want to do anything. Since you are "tired of stewing in your own juice", sit down, just learn something other than PHP, MySQL, jQuery.
Learn different frameworks, delve completely into MVC, not at the framework level, but deeper, at the level of different languages. In general, I advise you to study, for example, C # & ASP.NET, to study different types of databases. Read articles about high-load projects, use something that professionals use. In general, tired of sitting still - act yourself, and do not wait to be called.
I've already started. But just in case, I decided to ask if there are any other options / methods.

hantim.ru
Everything is as usual. Jobs for people with no experience or little experience - the sea.
I was helped in the same situation by specialized sites - job.ru , rabota.ru , hantim.ru
I found a good job in a couple of weeks. Have you thought about starting with them?
Junior's are needed only with less frequency, as an option, I advise you to get a job as a web enikeyshik and at the same time look for junior vacancies (I found it on hh.ru in my time) and go to interviews. I got a job myself, found a good job in six months.
Go to hh.ru and look for specialized vacancies with low salaries, no matter what they are called and no matter what requirements are written there.
There, in the requirements it will be written that you must be a super pro, but in reality this is not required.
By the way, I am a PHP programmer, now in a leisurely search, there is work, often there are not enough hands.
If you are interested, we can discuss in more detail, but the fact is that we didn’t really have to work in the team, everything was done by ourselves =)
Junior on the team?
They will take you. They will ask, for example, to fix a bug through a git bisect before lunch.
Pull?
As a junior, rivet business card sites and services are simple, nothing more.
(it turns out habrahabr.ru/qa/20540/#answer_83623 has already been suggested)
I apologize for interfering, but it looks like we have something in common with the author. Habr does not allow you to create a question, issuing a 404th error (not enough karma or some kind of bug?).
For more than a year I have been developing sites on Joomla, but not typical, for the "daughters" of the company. That is, it was required to write modules, plugins and components.
All this time I was interested in how to write correctly, studied issues of server optimization, etc.
The question is that I do not really understand how to position myself in the labor market if I start looking for a job.
Also php junior? Or a web-enabler?
The problem is complicated by the fact that the salary is now quite adequate, judging by the review of similar offers on the labor market, and I cannot donate money for the sake of getting a trainee position - I have to feed my family.
Hey, I have the same story. I work at my main job (system administrator in a bank, 80% of the time is left to myself), I do HTML layout, I study Bootstrap. At the same time, I connect all kinds of JS, JQuery plugins, and read the relevant literature. I wanted to direct this free time at work in the right direction, I thought how to get a job remotely, well, at least for 8 thousand rubles. so that the real experience of the developer was. But I can’t quit my main job, because. here the salary is now more than IT companies can offer me, if they hire me full-time as a Junior. That’s the problem (((. I’m not ready to donate money for the sake of experience yet. In here, I’m still ready to work remotely))
