How to execute functions asynchronously in unity3d?

In the course of googling, ideas appeared on how to work with coroutines. There are tons of examples of how to load a scene asynchronously with the loading screen. I would like not only the loading screen, for example, the FPS counter, so that it always shows, regardless of the downloads in the game
