How to erase data from DVD RW disc recorded in windows7?

Movies were recorded on a DVD RW disc for a DVD player in windows7. The mode for the DVD player has been selected. After watching the movie on the player, we decided to erase the data and write another one, but it is not visible in the OS. Nero can't see anything either. We tried a bunch of programs for burning and none of them found the disc. The tray is empty. To check the disc was inserted back into the player and everything is fine. Someone faced such a problem?
ps The disc doesn't care, the situation matters.

daemon tools? It seems to have a function to hide R/RW.

Who can't be seen on the computer, a movie on a disk (like Video-DVD) or a disk in an explorer / nero / a bunch of programs (like just a disk with files)? Was the disc RW?
I do not remember all the nuances, but once upon a time, nero6 did not erase disks with daemon tools installed (because of SPTD). I learned this later, and then I was not very upset, because I didn’t feel sorry for the disks and didn’t use RW much.
Have you tried Burn Aware?

I erased the disk on another computer and everything is fine. I was interested in the question of why exactly Windows wrote it down.
