How to enter safe mode on windows server 2016?
Hello!
There is a server based on Supermicro with an Intel raid on board.
Installed Windows Server 2016 64-bit STD ENG license.
When installing Win, as usual, slipped the drivers on the raid, because by default he did not see the disks at all.
Now there is a need to enter safe mode on it.
After a long googling, I tried this: I launched msconfig under the admin, went to the boot tab, then in the boot options we ticked the safe boot.
It seems that everything should work, but when you reboot (at the very beginning of the OS boot), the server gets up with a stake. The Windows logo is on and it doesn't go any further. There is an assumption that, perhaps, he does not find raid drivers in this mode and does not see the disks, respectively. How can I check this, can I somehow see the logs?
In addition, after that, it is not possible to return to normal boot mode.
What would you advise to solve the problem, how to get into safe mode correctly?
Thank you!
