There are a lot of paid software that can download videos from livestream.com , and I would love to buy it, but I only need to download the video once, and therefore I don’t want to spend $10 - $50 for one video.

Video from livestream.com is served via RTMP protocol.
In principle, from free programs (because the OS is not specified, I assume that Windows) RTMPdump can work with it. But they still need to be able to use, because. you still need to be able to get the address of the stream. For example, I was able to download a video with it every other time.
There is also StreamTransport, but I did not use it.
There are also paid solutions with trial versions for which you can easily find a tablet: Replay Media Catcher, FLVRecorder (I used it, it works properly).
