How to download program for MCU on Intel Edison?

Hello!
Faced the following problem:
I wrote a program for flashing the LED on gpio15 for MCU and uploaded it to Intel Edison.
I use Intel Edison with mini breakout board. I connect the diode, it does not light up and does not blink. I download the program through the development environment (Eclipse) on mac. Also tried running the "Getting debug messages from the MCU" script ( https://software.intel.com/en-us/node/557354 ). Also doesn't work. I assume that the problem is loading the program on the device.

There was a bootloader for the MCU, but, for example, in the edison-fw project (look on GitHub), the MCU was practically abandoned, since the existing firmware does almost nothing useful there.
