How to download Java Applet to SmartMX controller?

A week later, a SmartMX controller will arrive to me: NXP P5CD041 (inside the NFC ring). As far as I understand, it has 2 interfaces: ISO / IEC 14443 A Contactless Interface and ISO / IEC 7816 contact interface.
On the Internet, I read that you can download Java Applet there, since there is a JCOP OS. But I don't understand how to do it. As far as I read, I can only load the applet through the ISO / IEC 7816 contact interface, which requires a programmer that will connect to the interface pins. Can someone correct me?
Can someone explain what kind of hardware do I need to download the Java Applet to this controller? Can I do this wirelessly (for example, through an Android smartphone or some kind of wireless programmer)?
