In the process of studying OpenCart, in particular, I am currently working on Ocstore 2.1.0.2.1, I had a desire to understand the construction of themes, or rather their modernization. There is a ready-made layout of the html + css + js theme, I wanted to "stretch" it. But when working with the home page, it is not possible to display the modules. file header.tpl, footer.tpl made, the entire module folder was dragged from the default theme, the files content_top.tpl, content_bottom.tpl, column_left, column_right.tpl, home.tpl were also copied On the main page, nothing but the "header" and "footer" is not displayed. There, at least, the slider should be. What am I doing wrong and where to "dig". Thank you!

Did you add changes to the layouts in the admin panel? What's in the home.tpl file, what code.
Have you cleared the cache in the admin?
